Trotec Laser offers laser systems for engraving, cutting, and marking applications. Trotec Laser claims to offer the highest reliability and accuracy and the fastest speeds (140 inches a second with an acceleration of 5g) on the market.
In 2009, Trotec coined the term "The Trotec Advantage" highlighting their speed capabilities, InPack Technology, Harsh Environment Kit, JobControl Expert Software, and the longest standard warranties as the main features that supposedly set them apart from their competitors.
Trotec is well known for selling high end lasers. In 2008, Trotec introduced the rayjet, an entry-level laser system, in order to become more competitive in the market for entry-level systems. The rayjet desktop laser engraver is targeted at small to medium sized laser engraving shops and retail locations. To address company growth, Trotec offers their Trade-in Trade-up Program to all customers who purchase their rayjet.
