Wonju is a city approximately 90 miles (144.8 km) east of Seoul

They provide facilities to host sporting and musical events throughout the year. Wonju is also home to one of Korea's top basketball teams and games can be attended at very reasonable prices. It was the site of three crucial battles during the Korean War
