(GRG) lists people as verified supercentenarians if their age has been validated by an international body that specifically deals in longevity research, and if they have been confirmed to be alive within the past year.
This page lists both verified and unverified cases. A person is considered to be a verified living supercentenarian if their date of birth has been verified to be more than 110 years ago by an international body that specifically deals in longevity research, and they are still alive. Verification usually requires that three documents contain the same date of birth. An unverified living supercentenarian is a person who is reported to have been born more than 110 years ago by a reliable source (as defined by Wikipedia), but whose documentation has not (yet) been verified.
